The Legacy
Some people race. Some people are racers. Harry "Haulin' Harry" Goatcher has been part of competitive jet ski racing since its golden era — and decades later, he's still building the sport he loves.

Harry Goatcher entered professional jet ski racing in the late 1980s, when stand-up racing was exploding from a beach pastime into a full professional motorsport. The machines were raw, the racing was brutal, and the paddock was a family.
Through his involvement with L&S Engineering and the professional racing scene, Harry competed during the sport's most explosive period of growth — an era of factory teams, legendary rivalries, and innovation that shaped every racing ski on the water today.
World Finals, national tours, and the relentless grind of professional competition. The golden era of jet ski racing produced heroes on both sides of the Atlantic — and Harry was part of it.
After many years away from the water, the pull of racing proved impossible to resist. Harry returned to competitive jet ski racing — older, wiser, and every bit as fast in spirit.
Team Goatcher Racing exists to carry the sport forward: supporting racers, developing talent, and bringing generations of jet ski racers together. The legacy continues — full throttle.

The historic media archive — photographs, interviews, race programs, and results — is being assembled with the racing community. If you have photos or stories from the era, we'd love to hear from you.
